With credibility in the industry given our previously successful delivery and contracts in the same region, the client provided a full list of requirements following framework guidelines.
Finding suitable candidates for a variety of roles presented several difficulties. Given the nature of the selection of the role, thorough vetting of candidates was required. As per our normal auditing process, documents and supporting qualifications were requested which required that they were verified and countersigned by an organisation or sent via the Post Office Service. In order to establish the best candidates, Spinwell were required to work efficiently to assess their suitability.
Spinwell completed initial assessments over the telephone, followed by a face-to-face interview in a convenient location for both parties (dependent on time criteria). Headed by Spinwell’s nominated account manager, the interviews assessed candidates’ suitability, including understanding employment gaps and confirmation of dates worked previously. To ensure compliance, Spinwell required:
A minimum of two references
Employment history
An updated CV
Passport / DVLA check (if required)
Identity / Nationality checks in accordance with UK Border and Immigration Guidelines
Criminal records (if required)
Proof of qualifications
With all of the appropriate information received and completed by Spinwell’s onboarding team, we efficiently acquired candidates across a broad spectrum of skills and domains within very short timeframes.
In this case, the fill rate stats included 5 CV’s submitted, 3 shortlist/interviews to 1 placement. The contract was delivered on time and successfully came under budget. Through the thorough assessment of these candidates across various roles, we have also been able to retain qualified candidates in our CRM system. This enables us to efficiently and effectively place candidates in future roles, creating a reduced timeframe for clients and a positive solution for both parties.
