We recently worked with a local authority that required assistance in the recruitment of a full-time temporary role. The client required a highly competent individual with strong functional knowledge of FI (financial accounting) and proven experience in the development of IP solutions for budgeting and forecasting to maximise overall business.
Following an initial brief, it was established that these specialist requirements had made recruitment difficult, therefore encouraging them to seek external assistance. As part of an assortment of frameworks approved by local authorities, Spinwell were able to utilise internal talent in these areas to identify the key talent required in a time-efficient manner due to demand.
To achieve this, Spinwell began by assigning an experienced consultant as the client’s account manager, creating a single point of contact and collaborative working approach. The account manager attended scoping meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of the client’s needs was adopted and utilised to create the respective job description.
The development of clear objectives, a transparent budget and KPIs allowed the account manager to complete thorough vetting and interrogation and complete recruitment all within 72 hours. The successful candidate displayed outstanding talent and was introduced into our onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into their new workplace.
For those who were unsuccessful, Spinwell ensured to provide appropriate feedback and signpost them to relevant additional information for further reference and future applications.
Exceeding our KPIs and anticipating future needs, the organisation was additionally presented with a reserve list of key talent identified during the recruitment process.
